Browsing through the internet i have come to realize there are variations in making stew chicken however not the original sunday one lol . These days KIDS AND ADULTS do not know how to simply cook these meals so i thought i'd share this with you guys !

INGREDIENTS : ( measurements will vary depending on amt of chicken parts)

Chicken washed and cut up
salt
black pepper
pimento pepper
Hot peppers
creole seasoning (bottled seasoning)
green seasoning (bottled ) IF FRESH GREEN HERBS NOT ON HAND
Fresh Green Herbs : Shadon Benny (culantro) , chives, parsely, thyme , celery
garlic
onion
tomatoes

maggi
golden ray salted butter
sugar
oil

STEPS

In a bowl mix these ingredients together and you can let it sit before cooking for 10mins if you want

1. Put a pot on the stove with medium heat. You can use any soya, vege or olive oil to put in the pot (not too much)
2. Add sugar
3. Wait until sugar rises to a slight dark brown colour and bubbles up
4. You do not want the sugar to turn dark brown/ black in colour
5. throw in seasoned chicken turning it with a spoon to coat the sugar on.
6. Add water after however, Not too much water only to cover the chicken in the pot
7. Keep a watchful eye as the chicken simmers down
8. If it looks almost as if it's frying constantly turn the chicken until the sauce turns thick, then add water to the pot
9. Depends on how much sauce or how thin or thick you want it to be add water based on that
10. Here now you have your choice of adding maggi season up all purpose or chicken flavored and golden ray salted butter to taste
11. you can also add your favourites OPTIONAL : Corn, peas , beans, bodi etc.
12. Let everything come to a boil and then turn of heat!
