Mirror Attachments

How many people have these little attachments on their mirrors.
Can you tell us what purpose do they serve?

I have one on my right mirror. It helps to create a wider view of the road. It is very useful especialy when using the defensive driving aiming mirror technique in the car safety thread.

I personally use it to reassure me when I make a lane change since due to its design, it shows a much wider field of the view than just the bare mirror.

Basically allows you to see in your blind spot if your mirror is adjusted properly. The one on my passenger side mirror fell off after about 7+ years.

Yeah mirror attachment on the bonut of the car make the way more clear for us as we see the onward and backward both by the mirror.
