A Cunupia man is dead following an alleged shootout with police at Jerningham Junction Friday around 6.30 pm.
According to the TTPS, Cunupia police officers were on their way to execute a warrant in the area when they came upon Devon Raymond, also known as 'One Pop'. They said Raymond was acting suspiciously and ran off after being stopped.
The police said there was an exchange of gunfire and Raymond was shot and killed. A revolver was reportedly recovered at the scene.
