The Government has declared Tuesday July 29th a public holiday in commemoration of Eid Ul Fitr.....is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide..this marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting...during the Ramadan period While fasting from dawn until sunset, Muslims refrain from consuming food, drinking liquids, smoking, and engaging in sexual relations; in some interpretations Muslims also refrain from other behavior which could be perceived as sinful such as swearing, engaging in disagreements, backbiting and procrastination. Food and drink is served daily, before sunrise and after sunset.... Fasting for Muslims during Ramadan typically includes the increased offering of salat (prayers) and recitation of the Quran...

would like to wish all the muslim members Ramadhan Mubarak. It's nice we getting some rainy weather in between to help them not to feel the fast as much.

A Tuesday? hmm .. Ramadhan Mubarak to all the muslim members on the forum as well. The weather is really nice these days and my muslim relatives are not feeling it that much too. The cool weather makes it easier and bearable. Any plans for eid this year ?
