It official says ccn the 9/11 mastermind was reportedly shot in the head and his body is in U.S. hands.

President Obama has confirmed that Osama bin Laden has been killed by U.S. forces at a mansion in Abad Abad, Pakistan.

Bin Laden is the most wanted person in the US and is suspected of being the mastermind of the attacks on New York and Washington on September 11th, 2001.

Following the announcement crowds have gathered at the White House singing the U.S. national anthem and chanting "USA USA USA"
