22 Year old Renuka Gokool recently moved into a new apartment with her two children , mother and brother. She was bathing her 1 month old child when the suspect entered through her window and started to strangle her with her baby in her arms . The man started choking her and she lost consciousness when she rested the baby on a mat for safety. Police believe Gokool lost consciousness and her attacker panicked. He dragged her into his car and sped away. Gokool said she regained consciousness inside the moving vehicle and began pounding the trunk for help. She said she pulled out a metal pin and the trunk popped open. She jumped out at Platanite Trace, Barrackpore, and ran to a nearby hardware. The suspect was held yesterday and detained in the Penal Police Station. She only saw him a few times around the area and cannot understand why he will do something like that
