This year makes it 50 years that we were emancipated - set free from our colonizers. We have come to far as a country and also today makes it 22nd anniversary of the attempted coup - a day that many would like to forget.
Emancipation Support Committee (ESC) yesterday received $2 million with another $2 million promised from the State for this year's Emancipation celebrations. Also the state is preparing to welcome Nigerian President who will be joining us to commemorate and celebrate our 50 yrs of emancipation
