Many times people slide a scissor jack under the pinch weld, jack up their car and go under... That is totally unsafe and there is a great likelihood doing such can result in the jack failing, the car falling and crushing you along with it. So I present to you, the right way to lift and support your vehicle. Yes jack stands do save lives.
