For those of you who own a Corolla or an Altis from the Malay region, your car comes with a 1.6l 3Zz-fe engine. Gathering parts for this engine locally can be quite expensive and so I propose a solution.
From my own experience of having to change parts on an Altis, I can safely say the majority of 1ZZ-Fe engine parts are the same as the 3zz.
This means the two engines share a lot of the same parts.
The 1ZZ is a 1.8l engine which is found in the Usa Corolla Matrix.
By using toyodiy.com , you can select your car and gather part numbers which can be searched on amazon or ebay and parts sourced accordingly.
***Part numbers which match for both the 1zz and 3zz can be interchanged without issue.
I have had a 1ZZ tappet pan seal and a 1ZZ AC compressor installed on a 3ZZ for the price of the compressor used locally.
