I found so too. RX-7 to me was the better out of the two. I'm guessing the RX in the pics isn't going to be as light weight with modern safety requirements as well.

I almost 'came' when i saw the rx9 had to come back to earth after i was on cloud nine. Mazda is still doing good.

Lmao they really are doing well with the new rx design. Sadly it wont be as raw as the older ones and that I can't accept.

I never considered the RX8 as a successor to the RX7. They are both great in their own regards but RX7 always seemed mire focused in being a sports car than the RX8. The RX8 looks like it can actually be a daily car. I still miss the low lines of the 7 tho.

RX8 parts are expensive, making it a bad daily, so I was told.

Hmmm. Funny I've seen a lot of RX8's in morning and evening traffic over the years but only see the RX7's on the weekends in the hills. The RX7's always gunning it as well compared to the RX8's I see driving it like a regular grocery getter. It's probably just my biased perception.
