Auto Ac

Yea fellas one of my padna have a problem with he ac in he tiida...it does blow cold sometimes for a whole 30 minutes and then cut off and you does have to turn of the ac and leave it a little while and when you put it back on it does the same.....i was wondering could this be the thermostat causing this??? as no gas is leaking as we getting cold breeze and i believe the compressor is working good...what else should be checked??

Seems like a thermostat problem. YOu can try spraying the radiator with water when this happens and see if it comes back on. It seems like the thermostat is sticking.

Also a clogged engine air filter is worth checking out.

Was the system ever gased up? Sometimes too much gas in the system can cause this problem.
