Carnival 2008 Live Stream

CTnT World dot com

C News who around elections launched Campaign 41 to bring you updates has launched their Carnival 2008 site at CTnT World.

Included is a live stream of the Carnival 2008 activities. Even though it forces you to utilize Windows Media Player for the stream it has been consistent thus far in the quality of the stream having watch some kiddies carnival and Panorama results yesterday.

The site has also been quick to update the results from each competitions even though I have found it hard to locate yesterday’s results once today’s are posted.

Hopefully on Monday or Tuesday it won’t succumb to the faith of Campaign 41 with bandwidth and uptime challenges.

I am happy with the feed as I am living in Australia at the momment and it brings home to me but there is one problem, I can’t seem to enlarge the view to full screen mode. Is that how the feed comes through or do I need an upgrade to my PC

Joel,
The size is the default size and cannot be changed. I believe it was done to ensure that the stream would remain stable.
No need to upgrade the PC. :)

Joel,
If you want you can utilize the following link to play it directly in Windows Media Player, even though it may be choppy or inaccessible with the bandwidth constraints on the site. You mileage may vary.

I have been looking at Ctntworld since Saturday and managed to view Calypso semi-finals but after that nothing else is live, no small to medium bands live, no extempo. Can anyone advise what will be showed live for the carnival?
