That certainly didn’t take long as Alex spent a bit over a day in Trinidad and Tobago. After meeting with Trevor in the airport they had the opportunity to sample some of the food before running to catch a flight to Venezuela.

In discussing Alex’s stay I commented that it reflects well that he was able to move on so quickly in that we seem to be helpful and he did not have to wait around for a couple of days before getting the necessary help but the short stay did not give him an opportunity to showcase the music and culture that he did with Dominica.

Maybe Alex could decide to spend a minimum of two days at a destination before looking to move on to get a real sense of the culture but this may be prohibitive as it would surly lengthen the six month time frame they are looking to accomplish the journey.

I have to agree with Chennette and look forward to seeing more video from his abbreviated experience. I am not holding my breath though as this may be after he finishes his trip.
