Google Earth Trinidad and Tobago
Oct 10th, 2007 by Dre
Google Earth has just updated a good amount of 60cm satellite imagery for its mapping service. So far, the updated images are mostly in the US, Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, India, China, Australia, and New Zealand, but 130 countries total have had images updated with this latest publishing release.
This means that their are now additional areas of Trinidad that can be zoomed in on from within Google Earth that were previously blurry. The west side of the island is covered by those bands which indicate the level of imagery captured. A band can also be seen on the south east tip that covers Mayaro, however Tobago has yet to be photographed and the details are lacking.

In other developments, the Southern interchange that is seemingly a problem to navigate for many Trinis is now highlighted on Google Maps with directions. Is this the initial signs of point to point directions for us? Hopefully.
