The Broad Band

Broadband Map Could the disparity between broadband haves and have-nots limit the growth potential and the attainment of Vision 2020.

Wired recently highlighted the difference in the same broadband speed across the world and made a comparison to average monthly income.

The pixel that seemingly represents Trinidad and Tobago, depending on your color acumen, puts us at either between the $0.67 - $0.99 or $1 - $9.99 (USD) as the price per 100kbps of broadband access.

What percentage of your income do you spend on broadband either from TSTT, Flow or Greendot?

How is percentage of income relevant?
I would say that because dial up never came down in price, Broadband is actually pretty reasonable.
I have the $160 package with flow which is affordable to me, it is a fixed amount. I can budget for it. The monthly grocery bill is another matter.
