Trinidad Express TV

Trinidad and Tobago Express has launched a news snippet program called Trinidad Express TV. It is prominently featured on their home page and seemingly gives highlights about the news stories that are in that day’s newspapers.
It promises to update daily on breaking news stories and guide you through the weekly supplements and the weekend news. The interactive news presenters are Kristy Ramnarine, Aretha Welch and Rowan Gould. 
This effort look like a natural extension of the Express brand but one is left to wonder if it is at the sacrifice of the TV6 News venture that we had previously covered here and here.
It does feel like a news update format and the usage of footage from the TV6 daily catalog makes it a easier replacement/transition for the TV6 beta. This is also a good move as it leverages the hits the Express site receives.
Could this new venture be a reaction from the onslaught of the other local stations entering the online arena and will we also see the Newsday and Guardian following suit?
My general feeling is that this bodes well only if it lives up to the promise of constant updates throughout the day on breaking stories.

Martin i want you to tell me if you went to school, or you went under your house till school over. You don’t have common sense and i wondering if you have book sense. You do real nonsense with that “Passport” that appointment procedure need flushing and make sure the suspit receives it. It similar to the birth paper (Ministry of Legal Affairs) was in a horrible state.They still making mistake on people birth paper. Some lil dog bark in your ears Appointment for passport?. Do you know what trouble you put us in? I guess no. You could get yours anytime so you don’t care. call forever and forever more Amen. You mean to tell us Run up your phone bill let the Donkeys (Trinbagonians)call whole day till an agent answers. I made so many calls before i could get through to get a date next year. Total Foolishness Uh. when will this come to and end. Anyone share the same view with me lets come together and try to console this Stupidy to change this idea.
