Having not had any posts for a couple of days and with the main site now redirecting to here some reasoning and explanation behind it all.

A decision has been made to close the main site and re-evaluate the direction of Allyuh.com The site was originally intended to be an aggregator of sorts for local content to be showcased and voted on. Not having picked up to the level of usage and participation we expected due to various reasons we are currently weighing the options of undertaking the previously planned functional and graphical redesign or focusing in another direction.

Maybe later on we will do a case study and take a look at the challenges facing all of the sites vying for a attention of so few connected users. If you have any ideas you think might work with the domain name feel free to leave them in the comments or contact us.

The good thing is that this blog continues to keep its pulse and will be focusing on the online world as it relates to Trinidad and Tobago, all the things you can do accomplish online like personal banking to emerging sites and functionality to the graveyard of sites.
