Green Sands on White Sands
May 2nd, 2007 by Dre
As first mentioned more than a month ago here the return of Green Sands is upon us.
I have not yet been fortunate to indulge in one as the last drink I had occurred during a Tobago Great Race week of festivities where I had the pleasure of purchasing and finishing a case before my return to Trinidad.
I stress Great Race week and not Great Fete week to indicate the time line of these activities.
It was my understanding that even though it was unavailable in Trinidad at the time, it could be had in abundance in Tobago. Either that or the particular proprietor had a very aged stock.
Well now I believe it has returned for good as evidenced by the history of green sands at triniPulse. This “history” appears to be more marketing than historical fact but who am I to complain.
I will however note that the advertisement does not provide any information on its availability so I am left to think that contacting the Brand Manager, Janadi Gonzalez-Lord whose information is readily available is my only recourse on seeing if I can score a case.
If anyone has had the opportunity to indulge please let me know if the wait was worth it.

I”ve just started seeing them at my HiLo.. i was beginning to think this so-called ‘return’ was the stuff of myth
Do a taste test and see if they are reminiscent of old. I am sure it could go down good now with one of your recipes.
will do!
