As Zen was shut down for not more than a day, I decided to check out their website as we have had non stop coverage of them here at Allyuh.

Can I say that it is pretty difficult to find the url if you are not informed of it as it fails to show up in search engine queries. We all know that if you are not present in a Google search you may as not well exist.

The website was apparently down for the same time as the closure leading me to believe that the web servers were also without a health certificate.

I was thinking what if Johnny had a blog similar to this one, to help manage the publicity issues that they have encountered over the last couple of weeks. It may have been helpful to dispel some of the rumors and to assure those interested that the club would be reopened in time for their weekly parties.

The Zen blog may have become the de facto place for information regarding those issues as well as the statements being made to the press, as the press reporters are certainly now reading blogs such as this to corroborate their reporting.

I guess that this is part of a bigger issue where the recognition of the power in managing one’s publicity has not yet been grasped by Zen or the entire business community.
