Business & Personal Loans. Great Rates. Prosper.

Now you my regular reader may be saying to yourself, who is this John Chow and what is his dot Com. Well today all of that changes as we expose him in his attempts to make money online via a clever scheme tempting ordinary folk to review his blog. I believe it to be another part of his evil scheme to create a review page listing all of his reviews

I will qualify this by saying that we here at Allyuh are not against any ideas to strike it rich in this online goldmine. We must however protest in the manner in which this has been done as we feel it needs to be highlighted and questioned, or else it may become standard operating procedure and proliferate across these tubes.

What may strike you as it struck me when you visit his blog, is that it looks strikingly familiar. Except for the use of blue font where here we utilize red and his choice of background color, I would have attempted to log in.

It must be said that I myself have done double takes and shaken my head in disbelief on several occasions with the realization that this dot Com is setup similar to your blog away from home, your comfort blog - Allyuh.

Imitation is said to be flattery but I think John has taken it to another level in copying the format of Allyuh. Therefore I intend to expose every aspect of Allyuh that has been copied by Mr. Chow as I believe due credit should be given.

So what is similar on Mr. Chow’s dot Com you ask? With a seasoned eye on the matter allow me to highlight the similarities:

    1. His Google Ad Placements are awfully familiar
    2. He is RSS Friendly by offering a full RSS Feed
    3. His sidebar is a carbon copy with the exception of his Featured Sites and our Popular Stories
    4. He has an Archives page
    5. He has a Contact form
    6. He counts his commentors as well as his post views
    7. He allows you to rate his posts
    8. He has a MyBlogLog community
    9. I suspect him of operating the exact wordpress plugins that we utilize and
    10. To top it off he has also removed the footer link from his theme.

If those reasons don’t convince you that The Dot Com Mogul has happened across this esteemed blog, and successfully copied it’s greatest non-exclusive feature set, you are as evil as he proclaims.

Honestly I can’t wait to see what he “poaches” next as we continue to “innovate” here at Allyuh, but I can assure you this my loyal Allyuh readers and comment makers, I will be keeping both a close eye on his miscellaneous ramblings as well as my Analytics report.
