Allyuh TV - TV6 News Part I
Mar 14th, 2007 by Dre
Not a new comer to the online broadcasting of its news programs, TV6 had reentered the fray with the broadcasting of its news program via Media Zone’s Social TV platform.
Unfortunately the service is now down or discontinued but Allyuh was able to test it and give a preview of what it held. Hopefully it will return in the near future.
For starters, its Internet Explorer only so you will either have to switch browsers or utilize the Firefox Add-on IE Tabs. The message from Media zone below states that they are working on accommodating all other browsers.

The homepage below is the default when you navigated to and click on the TV6 News link on the Express homepage
Clicking on the Watch Now button takes you to the channel page where the stream is located. You can choose to look at other stations provided by Media Zone by using the left panel where the categories are Entertainment, International, Lifestyle, News and Information and Sports.
You can find TV6 as it is located under the International tab or using the TV guide feature toward the bottom of the page that displays upcoming programming. As mentioned earlier the TV6 stream is unavailable and Media Zone is currently utilizing the space to stream its own promotional advertisements.
Also on the page below the left panel is the TV6 Blog which currently consists of two posts and a total of seven comments.

When the channel was in operation the programming lineup was limited to the TV6 News at their various times throughout the day. However as Media Zone automatically tuned into the feed Allyuh was able to witness other programming within the timeslots as the news on a weekend varied from the programmed timeslot.

So is it any good? Look out for Part II where we review and discuss our experience with the service.
